Psalm 99

 • Series: Grateful Praise

Psalm 99 Message Notes: What are your favorite snapshots of past Thanksgiving celebrations? Catch this snapshot: Psalm 99:1. How could trembling or shaking before the LORD be good and inspire our grateful praise? Reflect and ponder. Contemplate two moving motivators for exalting the King with grateful praise in the coming week: The King is holy. Read Psalm 99:2-5. What most moves you in this snapshot? Why? The King mercifully answers. Read Psalm 99:6-9. What most moves you in this snapshot? Why? Read Hebrews 12:18-28. Ponder these potential responses: • Don’t run away in overwhelming fear. Be in awe, and move toward your holy King. • Call out to him for forgiveness. Trust him to answer. • Ask him to shape you, to shape us more in Jesus’ holy likeness. • Intentionally be thankful for your fresh snapshots of the holy King. Which of these will be your response(s) this week? Why and how? Get Ready for Next Week: Read Psalm 100 each day. Come ready to worship together and share your own grateful praise on 11/26 during open mic time at our 10am service!
