Anchor scripture: Mark 1:32-34. Message Notes: Think of a time lately, when you or someone you know felt very desperate and needy. What was happening? Ponder what happens in Mark 1:32-34. Q: What do you observe in these three verses? What questions does the scene raise in your heart? Several truths about Jesus’ miracles: Miracles and the supernatural were central to Jesus’ ministry. Jesus’ miracles and teaching were wrapped together. Jesus’ miracles showed the supreme power of God. Jesus’ miracles demonstrated that he is the promised Messiah, Son of God. Jesus’ miracles were not for fame or wealth, power or applause. Q: Which of these stand out to you as fresh or reinforced insight? What’s it look like to bring others to Jesus? Bring others to Jesus through solid Qs. Bring others to Jesus with encouraging words. Bring others to Jesus through prayer. Bring others to Jesus with BELLS. Bring others to Jesus by inviting them to circle up. Bring others to Jesus, even while you struggle with a mix of doubt yet growing belief.
